I’m Back!

This is my first blog for months so here we go!

A couple of days ago I just saw a documentary called A Grand Night In: The Story of Aardman on Netflix. It’s a pretty interesting documentary when I saw it.

Recently, I had DVDs, Funko Pops and VHS tapes I bought from various stores. And that’s all the stuff I got.

Oh Boy! Another Random Blog Post Once Again!

Hello again and it's time for another random blog post!

On Disney+, I've finally watched Toy Story 4. It's pretty interesting sequel too, even Bo Peep with her sheep finally returned. They even made a short film entitled Lamp Life, which is about what happened to Bo Peep. When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it was Photoshopped due to the fire on Bo Peep.

Another interesting part is Tinny from the 1988 Pixar short film, Tin Toy, makes a cameo appearance!

Yesterday it's Leap Day (February 29) and I got a $25 eBay gift, which I was originally getting by $20.

Here's the stuff what I got with my gift card:

  • Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends Season 1 DVD
  • 2 VeggieTales VHS Tapes (God Wants Me to Forgive Them and A Very Silly Sing Song)
  • Dexter's Laboratory: The Musical Time Machine CD
Please note that the latter two are the original versions. But there one it's way.

That's all what I got and saw.

A Late Valentine's Day Post (and Other Things On The Blog)

Hello again! On Valentine's Day, I got chocolate candy and a $25 dollar bill.

The next day, I want to stores and I got good stuff here. At Goodwill, I bought 3 VHS tapes, Back to The Future 1 and 2 (the third one isn't here though) and Three Amigos. Later on Big Lots, I got a DVD of Woody Woodpecker and other Walter Lantz cartoons and the double feature Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Ware-Rabbit and Chicken Run. I remember seeing Wallace and Gromit since I was little but for years the DVD had been gone until now.

Also, I'm announcing that I will replace my old computer with a Windows 10-operated one someday since my old computer often crashing.

So that's all what I got in my blog.

The Son of Random Blog Posts

Today I bought a sketchbook from Walmart since I removed nearly all of my paper cause I'm running out of ideas for my drawings.

I rediscovered a USPS commercial with the clown. Doesn't remind you of the clown from the Pixar short film, Red's Dream?

I also rediscovered VeggieTales. Which is I've already mentioned on my older blog posts I did.

So that's all what I got!

My Memories of KTV

Back then, I used to watch KTV (Kids & Teens TV), which was a Dish-exclusive channel which aired usually Christian stuff, but sometimes has classic shows from the '60s to '90s.

Here's some of the shows I remember watching:

First I started off Monster Sunday School, a puppet show that takes place in of course, a Sunday school. I remember seeing a few episodes featuring two puppets from another show...
...Nanna's Cottage!! One of the character is a large sheepdog costume.
One of the shows I definitely remember was VeggieTales! The version as you seen there was also on Qubo, another channel I grew up on.
Another fun show is 3-2-1 Penguins! Can't resist the theme song!
Did you know there was a spin-off of VeggieTales, LarryBoy? This show featured 2D-animated versions of VeggieTales characters, rather than the traditional CGI. It was part of a show called 3-2-1 Penguins/LarryBoy Stories, also aired on Qubo.
Another show was Adventures in Odyssey, which is based on a popular radio show of the same name.
Lamb Chop's Play Along was another of the show I remember watching. The show was originally aired on PBS. Especially the opening and closing themes.
Here's the Archies! I also remember watching another show with them called Archie's Funhouse, which featured Archie characters telling jokes, puns, fun activities, etc.
Waldo Kitty was one of the decent ones I watched. It was about a cat who had lot of imaginations.
There's also a show called Space Academy. One of the characters was Peepo, a robot.

So that's all the shows I remember grew up watching on the channel. So good luck!

Some Old Drawings I Did Years Ago

I just looked at my old photos on my computer and I would like to you something on my art. The art style has improved overtime, as I wanted to change my art style in my future artwork.

Just remind you that many of my art and characters would be "dated" and scrapped, which you may remind those from the now-defunct Google+. So here's are my art.
Here's my first OC, Cheeky Tanooki, after a power-up of a Japanese racoon dog on Super Mario Bros. 3! I also got inspiration from Mickey Mouse and the Huggy Bites bear on The Amazing World of Gumball. I tried the angry girl's mom based off Timmy's Mom from The Fairly OddParents.
Another one is Rachel and Jack, which is about teens feel in love with each other in the beach.
I also used to draw Dee Dee from Dexter's Laboratory back then. One of which is the picture of her peforming Swan Lake.
Rita Parker, a teenage girl. It was originally drawn in my own style, I alternatively drawn to that of Gennedy Tartakovsky.
My first cel, which of course, Dee Dee! Based on that of the later episodes of season 1. I don't had that anymore unfortunately.
Chiyo from Azumanga Daioh doing the Peanuts famous line, "AAUGH!", with (Charles M.) Schulz' signature onto it.
Robot Jones from Whatever Happened to Robot Jones? Pretty good one too!
Dee Dee as Leni Loud from The Loud House!
Issac L. Iromote, who is a iriomote cat. He is like a mix between Bonkers D. Bobcat, Jeremy from Phineas and Ferb and Lincoln Loud!

Here are some of the more recent ones I drew
Lynn Loud doing scuba diving. Scuba diving is considered a sport so I draw it. I tried to design her scuba gear similar to that on an episode entitled Abscent Minded. I hope she get certified.
And Yumi from Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi! (Sorry that this picture is sideways!)

So that's all my pics I had over the years.

Another Random Blog Post Already?

Recently I became obsessed with Puffy AmiYumi, which I mentioned on my previous random blog post. My favorite characters on that show are Yumi and Kaz. I had the Let's Go DVD and the show's soundtrack on CD.

I also discovered another obscure show called Robotboy, which reminds me of those Canadian cartoons I used to watch as a kid, along with The Fairly OddParents and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (pictured above).
I even started obsessed with Christian kid shows. Which that includes Adventures in Odyssey, Gerbert and of course, VeggieTales. Here's a edited video from The Donut Man (Rob Evans) and Duncan the Donut show. The David and Goliath part is the funniest part I saw in this one!

So that's all the random things on my post, he should've stay in BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDD!!!

I'm Planning to Switch my Art Style

After all these years, I been drawing in my own art style, which is like a combination of 1990's Warner Bros. shows like Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs and The Loud House.

By now for the new decade, I started doing new art styles to for my future artwork!

My which is based on the 2001-2003 versions of Dexter's Lab characters (which I already talk about on my older post)...

...Whatever Happened to Robot Jones? (the art style on the show itself based on Schoolhouse Rock)...
Image result for whatever happened to robot jones

...and the DePatie-Freleng cartoons (which I had The Pink Panther Ultimate Visual Guide book, which features information on DePatie-Freleng characters)!!
Image result for the depatie freleng collectionImage result for the depatie freleng collection
Some other inspirations are Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Jay Ward, Don Bluth and some others I would think to use.

So that's my future ideas on changing my art style.

Yes, you heard it right! This is my first post in 2020! And earlier, we got to go shopping!

  • Dragon Ball Movie Box DVD set
  • Rocko's Modern Life Complete Series DVD set
  • Woody Woodpecker Funko Pop
  • Labyrinth T-Shirt
  • Michael Jackson Bad CD
  • Jim Henson Funko Pop (Ernie version, since I planning to get both versions, which I'm getting the one with Kermit separately)

  • MTV Moon Person Funko Pop
  • K-S Brass Rod (for my future puppets)
  • Animation 1 by Preston Blair
  • Amazon gift card (I was planning getting something here at $50)
Neat, huh? But I was trying to find a Kid Goku Funko Pop with flying nimbus and DVDs of Seasons Two and Three of The Muppet Show since I already saw the first season and I cannot find it everywhere!

So that's all what I got, bye!
